WHO WE ARE?
Welcome to our Azalealilstore!
Our founder, Hibo Azalea, also known as Lil Aze or Hippo Aze, was born and raised in a poor village in Cameroon. She received a scholarship to study in France, where she learned French, English and e-commerce. With the help of her American friends, Sarah and Lil Dave, she started a small online business selling leather books and African-made products. After moving to London, Hibo's vision expanded, and she began to source more than 70% of her products from Africa.
Hibo believes that it is important to bridge cultural gaps and build relationships between people from different backgrounds. She aims to inspire women in Cameroon to start their own businesses and become financially independent.
At our store, we share Hibo's passion for promoting African-made products and supporting education in Cameroon. Each month, we donate 1% of our revenue to a random school in Cameroon.
