"This is a great bag for basic range toting. I got this bag about 2 months ago and it's holding up extremely well. I've got it loaded down with 3-4 pistols (depending on the day) and several boxes of .22, 9mm, and .380 ammo (all day er' day), and it has yet to pull a stitch or pop a zipper. It would be better if it had more magazine pouches, but I guess 6 is enough for a mid-tier range bag. I'm already looking to buy a second one, I just wish they had a greater selection of color options. Great range bag! Would HIGHLY recommend!"

"Bought this a few months and don't regret that I did. I use this pretty much every weekend shooting pistols and rifles.
Has a TON of room in the main bag area. I keep two sets of peltors, two sets of eyes, binos, range finder, two to three pistols (depending on size) and 500-600 rounds in it. Side mag holder compartment is nice and works well, but with most double strack mags and 1911 mags you can only fit one mag per holder/pouch. Single stack 9mm (like S&W M&P shield) and smaller calibers I can usually fit two mags per holder/pouch. The other side compartment carrys cleaning gear, extra batteries, and basic tools, but can get a little crowded as it's not very thick.
The only negative thing I have to say is that you can cram a ton of stuff in it making it pretty heavy pretty quick.
I've had a few buddies buy one after seeing mine and how much I fit in it. You can't go wrong with this!"

The top/ main compartment can be locked with a luggage lock. The two side zip pockets cannot be locked

That would depend on what state you are in. In Ohio, yes. In Kentucky yes they are a constitutional state. Illinois, no they have much stricter gun laws
How can I add additional magazine storage to the bag?
You can divide this bag into about 5 compartments which will hold MANY magazines, if that is all want to carry in this bag.

Can I attach 2 patches on the outside?
On one side of the bag there is a 12 inch long by 1 inch wide strip of Velcro located on The top of that side.. To answer your question yes however you can’t place them anywhere on the bag with the exception of that one strip. The only other way to attach a patch is by stitching it on

I guess you could if you wanted to but it was not made or intended for this purpose.

You should be able to. I store Springfield xdm mags and they fit nicely not to snug or anything. So i dont see why you couldn't.

I carry a large set of earmuffs in this pouch with tons of room left over. I believe you can carry your two pair in their rigid cases easily and still have room for ammo, eye protection, and cleaning supplies. And is in addition to the storage in the side flaps where I keep bore snakes, CLP, a light, and small tools. The bag really is very spacious.
