"This brass catcher does a good job of keeping spent brass from disappearing in the grass and dirt on my range. It attaches to my upper receiver rail using the included mount. (I've uploaded a photo of it mounted. You can position it on any available point on your rail to get the correct position on the ejection port.) The catcher then slides onto the mount and locks. (You can move it in and out to get a better distance from the ejection port if needed.) I've uploaded a photo of the underside of the locking mechanism.
