"There's a rather comprehensive list of handguns this will fit listed by the manufacturer, and I would go so far as to say that it will fit just about any handgun from compact to full-size, with perhaps only the smallest sub-compacts being a bit too small and the super-sized hand cannons being a bit too large. Essentially we have a setup that can be broken down into three separate parts:
1. The Holster itself
2. The Belt loop attachment for the drop-down Assembly
3. The drop-down assembly
For those who don't know, a drop down thigh holster attaches to (usually) a belt, and then there's a strap or straps to attach and cinch the holster around a thigh. On this one, the drop-down belt loop attachment is removable via a quick-detach plastic lock, while the drop-down assembly itself attaches to the backside of the main holster and is held on (and removable) via webbing and two metal snaps.
When the drop-down parts are removed, the holster can be attached and worn as a normal holster, looped around a belt.. Conversion between versions is very quick and only takes a minute or so, maybe faster once practiced.
And best of all, from my point of view, there are NO METAL SNAPS that will potentially rub against the gun when inserting and drawing from the holster.

How do you use it as a belt holster?
- The leg straps can be removed allowing for an up to 1.75" belt passed through the upper leg strap spot. You can also also use it on a battle belt waist high under the inside large velcro flap on back. Just remove the leg straps and the large plastic hip drop down buckle and you're good to go.
